LE CHAT CHOCOLAT is easily reached by road or rail from any of the usual northern ferry ports - Boulogne, Caën, Calais, Cherbourg, Dieppe, Dunkerque and St. Malo - and the larger port of Le Havre as well as the small port at Honfleur, which is sometimes used by cruise liners.
For the convenience of our visitors we have given directions from the most commonly-used ferry ports for good road access to our part of Normandy, namely Calais and Dieppe. Directions from Calais will equally well apply to arrival at Boulogne (you simply join the A16 [E402] motorway a little further south, taking about half an hour off the road journey) or by train through the Chunnel. Just click on the appropriate button:
Dieppe is nearest. It is also possible, of course, to drive or take the train from a more southerly port such as Bordeaux or even Marseille - although journey times will, naturally, be much longer. A good European Road Atlas will show the routes from any of these or other ports of entry.
