Themed Weekends

THEMED WEEKENDS at LE CHAT CHOCOLAT

Less structured than most of our courses and seminars, we offer our guests the opportunity to choose a weekend which will afford them entertainment and/or activities, in addition to the usual warm welcome, comfort and various amenities to be found at LE CHAT CHOCOLAT.

You may wish to mark a special occasion with a romantic weekend, explore a new interest, meet people with similar interests in your own age group, or pick a weekend that is likely to be fun and lively, even if the weather is unreliable.

For those who like to be spontaneous, why not book for one of our scheduled themed weekends and join in (or not) with those activities that appeal, as and when you feel like it? Or perhaps you may prefer a C-I-Y (Choose-It-Yourself) weekend, arranging to visit with a group of friends, to share the pre-arranged and tailor-made programme of your choice.

For those of you in business, who would like to reward loyal employees who have worked above and beyond the call of duty, why not talk to us about an incentive weekend for your top performers?

Here are just a few ideas for starters, but if you see any activities on our List of Courses that you feel could be adapted to a long weekend, please feel free to ask whether we can accommodate your requirements. Have a look on our Amenities and Things To Do page for further ideas, too.

ROMANTIC WEEKENDS for VALENTINE'S DAY, SPECIAL ANNIVERSARIES or simply because you like to surprise the one you love…… (especially in the PERSIAN SUITE with its 4-poster bed)...… how about breakfast in bed with a red rose on the breakfast tray? ...… a gala buffet with cabaret and/or dancing? …... or a candlelit meal with romantic music in the background? …... an aperitif or champagne or after-dinner liqueur curled up on the comfy sofa in front of the wood-burning stove? ...… or a present from our gift selection (which can easily be exchanged in situ, if need be)?

MURDER MYSTERY WEEKENDS - enormous fun, whether you participate with complete strangers or persuade a few friends to share a house party. We could also include a séance and/or a karaoke evening to make the weekend a truly memorable experience.

How about a MUSICAL WEEKEND, whether your taste is Country & Western, Rock 'n Roll, Swinging 60s or…... the other kind of Swing - Glen Miller, Irving Berlin, George Gershwin, Cole Porter, etc? Come along, dressed in the right style and ready to sing and dance to your heart's content.

And for those of you who want to socialise with like-minded unattached folks, come along to one of our SINGLES WEEKENDS. Forget the 3-minute speed dating ordeal - who needs that kind of pressure? Sometimes making new friends (both genders) is more important. The 'raison d'être' is to be sociable in a delightful environment, with good food, fine wine and friendly company, with a couple of ice-breaker games to put everyone at ease.
