Located at Haussez, the proprietor, Mme Dufrenne, has always had a passion for cultivating rhubarb, out of which she produces (and sells) an incredible variety of jams, preserves, jellies and caramels in many flavours.
Located at Nesle Hodeng, within a strictly controlled geographical area giving entitlement to use of the appellation controlée name of "Fromage de Neufchâtel", this farm, run by the Brianchon family produces one of the best cheeses bearing this prestigious name; their distinctive, heart-shaped Neufchâtel cheese has won many awards.
Located at La Ferté St Samson, this dairy farm is open daily throughout the year for group visits only.
Ferme de l'Escargot du Mont Fossé
It doesn't get much more typically French than this! Located at Sommery, Christophe Lamy has been raising edible snails for over 10 years. He looks after and feeds thousands of these shell-covered delicacies, respecting their natural reproductive conditions. You may visit from 1st April to 1st October on Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays, and, by prior reservation, on Thursdays and Sundays.
Located at St Michel d'Halescourt, this estate produces cider, calvados and pommeau de Normandie, using traditional methods combined with modern technology. It is open for sales every day and offers pre-booked group tours (minimum of 10 persons).
Located at Beaubec la Rosière, he produces organic calvados and hand-squeezed cider. You may visit and buy any day. He also raises and sells lamb and poultry . You may buy every day but guided tours are by appointment only.
Denise & Patrick Fournier
Located at Saint Saire, this poultry farm produces a delicious range of duck foie gras, magret, confits & rillettes, as well as breeding ducks and other fowl. Tastings and group visits may be pre-booked.
Located at Rocherolles en Bray, this is another poultry farm producing excellent duck foie gras, magret, confits & rillettes, as well as breeding ducks. Sales and visits by appointment.
A number of local farmers offer guided visits and tastings, as well as selling their produce. They are all well worth a visit. Some of them require pre-booking, and some will only deal with group visits.
