A number of villages in the Pays de Bray participate annually in the national and regional flower competitions. All are well worth a look, as the standard is very high. They are all awarded the title of “Village Fleurie”. Those achieving regional or departmental distinctions include:
Neufchâtel-en-Bray; La Feuillie; Saint-Saire; Saint-Hellier; Gaillefontaine; Gournay-en-Bray; Neuville-Ferrières; Mesnièrs en Bray; La Hallotière; Le Coudray St. Germer; and, jointly with the highest distinctions (namely a 3 flowers rating), Forges-les-Eaux and Grumesnil.
Gerberoy, near Saint-Germer-de-Fly dominates the valley of Arondel and the Bois Caumont, offering an exceptional site which has earned Gerberoy the distinction of being officially classified as one of the most beautiful villages in France.
