"An Affordable Experience - Not Your Average B & B"
Running from Dieppe via Neufchâtel-en-Bray to Forges-les-Eaux, the Green Way is a linear park freely accessible by cyclists, pedestrians, roller-boarders/skaters, and those who have restricted mobility. Wherever space permits, a side passage allows access for horse-riders. The Green Way route follows the tracks of an old, long-abandoned railway line. Combined with lots of ramblers' pathways and little trails, it also allows a number of circular routes enabling exploration of the heritage of the local villages and knowledge of their produce. In June 2003, the first section, from Beaubec La Rosière (near Forges-les-Eaux) to Saint Aubin le Cauf, was opened as a secure route for 40 kilometres with no motor vehicles permitted. Sections onward to Dieppe (via Neufchâtel) and back to Forges-les-Eaux, all through glorious countryside, have since been opened up to visitors.
The Green Way continues on into England, crossing East Sussex, towards London. It is possible to travel along the "Cuckoo Trail" which runs for 18 kilometres along the Weald, which is the European partner of the Pays de Bray.
